Paint by Numbers Instructions and Tips

Painting Instructions:

The acrylic paint included with your painting comes in numbered cups. Simply fill the numbered areas on the canvas with the corresponding numbered paint.
Relax and take your time until all the numbered areas are filled.
Allow to dry for a few hours or overnight and your painting is ready to hang. (Hanging hardware included)

Painting Tips For the Best Result

Have Fun!! Take your time and paint at your own pace.
Work top to bottom. This helps to avoid smudges.
Large to small; fill in the larger areas first.
Paint with 1 color first. This reduces brush cleaning times.
Clean and dry brushes in between colors.
Close the paint cups when you are finished with the colors to keep them from drying out.

Tips for Choosing the Right Photo for a Paint-by-Numbers Project

Less is more. The more subjects in your photo the fewer colors and less detail for your subjects.
A close-up with good light is ideal.
For a group of people we recommend a size starting at 16"x20".
Make sure you order the appropriate size and shape canvas for your photo: square - square, rectangular - rectangular.
